This is a book I have about McDonalds to encourage my students to look at books. I chose the topic McDonalds as almost every child I know enjoys eating at McDonalds. This story is great to encourage those who do not often look at books. It is simple to read and has a humorous ending. I would laminate this book and the picture cards and use velcro. I would normally do closed passages the student/s, i.e. I would start to read the sentence and then pause at a word, the student will need to respond by finding the correct picture card and matching it onto the picture at the bottom of the page.

This is a visual cookbook for lifeskill students with limited to no reading skills. It allows for greater independance in preparing their own breakfast. It is to be printed and bound together. May be best to laminate it, in case of spills. My students loved it!
